Update - my injury
My hands have healed very nicely; thanks for everyone who was asking about it! It took about three weeks, but the large burn on my left hand finally healed over into a shiny new scar. Proof that I worked hard in culinary school, I guess! No infections, no tetnus. So we're ready to go!

I finally had the chance to catch up with you here -- ran across the address while tidying the desk -- and am glad I did. But now I want more. What's happened with pastries? More almonds? Are you on to a new class? How are your products translating into your personal life? Are you cooking anything amazing for T-giving this week?
ReplyDeleteOn a related note, one of my grade school friends is studying to be a pastry chef now, in his forties. He did a course of study in France and Italy, so there's always that to look forward to! And compared to him, you have a jump on it as a calling.
